Welcome Back!    That's what I have been hearing for the past week from chapter members..... and it feels good.  I took a "vacation" from organized activities this past year  (with the exception of one obligation with another organization).

Last August 1, 2007,  I left with my 3 chihuahuas; off we went in our Casita Travel Trailer.  We headed North to Mt. Rushmore (arriving just in time to wade through a half million Harleys meeting at Sturgis).    It is a lovely inspiring place even with the rumblings in the distance.

Off we headed to Yellowstone.  We spent 5 nights there and tried to see everything there.  I thought the domes were especially scenic; then there were the water falls, the buffalo, not to mention Old Faithful.  I'd like to return in a different season.

We turned North from Glacier  and headed to Glacier National Park..... we arrived just in time for the first major summer fog  (can I say Pea Soup?).... actually they haven't had such an event in many years and were flabbergasted.  So we missed actually seeing the Glaciers in the Sunlight and had to settle for post cards and other purchased pictures.

More adventures later.........I'm just learning how to use this site for now.
