We are a Texas non-profit corporation dedicated to elevating the image of women and men in the field of rodeo. Our purposes are to promote and stage an annual rodeo in Texas and to encourage the participation of its members in western-related events and to engage in charitable activities.

We are proud of our twenty nine year history of gay rodeos and of our record of donating more than $2,500,000 to Texas charities.

Prime Timers is a national organization promoting social activities for the older gay and bisexual male and those who like them. Our Houston chapter was founded by seven organizers in 1990. Many friendships and long term relationships have developed from our fun and games. Currently, we have over one hundred members ranging in age from mid-twenties to eighties!

 Mission

Pride Houston shall work to bring lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgendered individuals and allies together to educate the world on issues important to the LGBT community, commemorate our history and heritage, celebrate our culture and strive for equality.

 Vision

To honor the Stonewall Riots in New York City by having the largest and most accessible Pride Celebration in the Southern United States where all may attend, be themselves and find like-minded people.

Different Spokes Houston - Houston’s Gay and Lesbian cycling club, open to all in the GLBT and GLBT -friendly community with an interest in cycling. Riders of all skill levels are welcome. We’ll schedule many bike rides, social events, and encourage club participation in organized rides throughout the year. We are a fun and diverse group of cyclists with skill levels from beginner to advanced. Join us for a ride! Don’t worry - no one gets left behind. 

HGLP is a social and support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender parents, their partners and kids, and parents in planning. Some of us are single and some of us are in relationships. Some of us are very open about being gay parents and some of us are in the process of coming out to our children and the world. Some of us still are in the planning stage and some of us are juggling all the details that having kids entails. Some of us had children in heterosexual relationships, some through adoption, donor insemination, surrogacy, foster care, or other arrangements. Some of us have babies or toddlers, some have elementary-age kids and some of us have teenagers. Some of us have survived having teenagers and have adult children, even grandchildren!

A safe and supportive network for lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender South Asians in Texas.

Membership is restricted to Queer South Asians and their partners who live in Texas. We define South Asians as those individuals who have origins in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. While we may consider extending membership privileges to others on a case by case basis according to criteria set forth by the group, the goal of our group is to provide a safe site for Queer South Asians.

Founded in 2001, our club has fielded teams in local leagues and in regional and national tournaments.  Originally intended to provide a welcoming and friendly place for gay and lesbian soccer players to compete and make friends, we are proud to be an all-inclusive organization.  We are always open to experienced soccer players joining our teams.
